Gaza’s Slow Death
Six months after the so-called ceasefire, which turned out to be a disappointment and a betrayal; six months after the ceasefire, Gaza continues to suffer a genocide, slow but suffocating, far from the cameras of the lying media, far from journalists
Praise be to Allah (swt) and Blessings on the Prophet Muhammad (saw).
Behold, as for those who are in denial [of Allah’s direct power and urgent authority], it is all the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not ac- knowledge [and commit to Allah]. Allah has sealed their hearts and their hear- ing, and over their eyes is a film; and theirs is a magnitude of misery. Al Baqarah, 2:6-7
Six months after the so-called ceasefire, which turned out to be a disappointment and a betrayal; six months after the ceasefire, Gaza continues to suffer a genocide, slow but suffocating, far from the cameras of the lying media, far from journalists complicit in the genocide. Palestinians live in atrocious conditions, starved and without medicine. The tents are constantly bombarded, the buildings that have resisted are razed to the ground.
More than 1,000 Palestinians were massacred, as many injured, and another 1,000 under the rubble, mostly women, children, and the elderly. Traumatized for life, 110,000 children fell into mutism, unable to express themselves, unable to communicate. As a journalist from Gaza said, “We have survived the war, but we may not survive the ceasefire... Every day there are victims, Israel continues to kill."
The world has understood it: this is not peace, but a slow and burning genocide, coated in tar, allowing the West to propagate their lie under positive titles.
O you who are securely committed [to Allah’s power]! Do not take the [political] Jews and the [political] Christians for your allies: they are but allies of one another — and whoever of you [politically] allies himself with them becomes, verily, one of them; behold, Allah does not guide an iniquitous multitude of people. Al Maida, 5:51
Let’s be clear: the Gaza ceasefire is not peace. The world’s attention has been diverted. Gaza is no longer in the headlines. Gaza is suffocating. The psychopath from the Oval Office had sold the world "a peace plan".
The world is discovering the West’s definition of “peace.” And it is this plan that Arab leaders are scrambling to sign. This is the “normalization” they celebrate. According to the current settlement strategy, with Israel as the last bulwark to be protected at all costs, there will never be peace. No real peace, no justice, no freedom.
It is undeniable that the West has consolidated, armed, financed, promoted, supported and laundered the most violent, barbaric and radical form of extremism that exists. Zionism is a plague, Israel a cancer.
For the Muslim, Zionists are rebels against Allah (SWT), which explains the abnormal level of their cruelty, barbarism and wild nature. This is an inhumane genocidal extremism that the West has condoned for decades.
What we can do
The ceasefire is a lie. The genocide has never been put on hold. Nor should the Ummah be put on hold. Thanks to social media, the United States and Israel can no longer control the narrative. People know how to distinguish the truth. Israel’s acquisition of TikTok and the use of thousands of influencers confirm this. It is certain that Allah (SWT) is shifting the dynamic of power. That is why we will also have to master the tools of technology, in order to control the narrative.
Then, let us maintain the boycott to continue weakening the economy of the Zionist state. Thanks to the boycott, we can demonstrate our solidarity with oppressed peoples. No sincere effort, however small, to curb ethnic cleansing, torture, and arbitrary detention should be underestimated.
Let us devote a few hours, among many others that Allah (SWT) has granted us, to exercise our freedom of speech, to demonstrate our solidarity and give moral support to our brothers and sisters, as well as to condemn an evil publicly by our words, in accordance with the command of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Ignore those who claim that marches, demonstrations and vigils are useless.
We can all offer moral support. Never underestimate the power of boycotting. The boycott contributes to weakening the economy of the apartheid state of Israel.
The Ummah cannot count on the heads of Arab states, the Arab Zionists to liberate Palestine. The Ummah needs political independence, real authority, and sincere leadership, not puppets. We need leadership comparable to the caliphate, a leader who can put Al Aqsa, Gaza, and the Ummah at the centre of its priorities.
Hence, make ready against them [the mushrik enemies] whatever force and [impressive] war mounts you are able to muster, so that you might deter thereby the enemies of Allah, who are your enemies as well, and others besides them of whom you may be unaware, [but] of whom Allah is aware; and whatever you may expend in Allah’s cause shall be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged. Al Anfal, 8:60
Independent scholars know that, in the face of oppression, in the face of barbaric cruelty of the Zionists, jihad is mandatory. Moreover, it is established, according to the consensus (ijma), that it is a grave sin to ignore the call of our brothers when they ask for help.
He it is who has sent forth His Apostle [Mu- hammad] with the [task of spreading] guidance and the deen of truth, to the end that He may cause it to prevail over all [false] deen — how- ever hateful this may be to those who ascribe divinity to anyone/anything beside Allah. At Tawbah, 9:33
We have a duty to assume our responsibility as witnesses for humanity. We need to raise general awareness within the Ummah about the means to put We have a duty to assume our responsibility as witnesses for humanity. We need to bring about a general awareness within the Ummah on how to implement the decree of Allah (SWT) in order to restore the honour of the Ummah and restore its place as leaders for humanity.
May Allah (SWT) help and guide us.
